      Final Project Consultation
-Final project has been approved by Mr. Fauzi.

        3.0 PRACTICAL

        Idea Development:

        1. Write a biography about yourself.

        INTRO

My name is Lim Jia Xuan, born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is my first semester in my degree journey, and honestly—it's been a bit overwhelming. I've struggled here and there, and there were times when I felt like time was slipping through my fingers while working on assignments. But every challenge also pushes me forward.

        PARAGRAPH 1

        What is your passion?

One of my favorite ways to unwind is simply lying on my bed, playing music, and opening my laptop to enjoy some variety shows—especially after a long day filled with creative work. It’s my way of recharging and getting inspired again.

        PARAGRAPH 2

What’s motivate you to achieve your dream?

Everything around me. I believe that if I have a dream in sight, I owe it to myself to give 100% effort. That goal keeps me moving, even when things get tough. It reminds me that hard work really does fuel the path toward achievement.

        SUMMARY

How do you want to visualize your dream into an artwork?

I want to express my dream using a vintage style mixed with modern poster aesthetics. It’s about keeping the nostalgic, timeless feeling of vintage design while also showing the boldness and beauty of modern expression. It reflects who I am—rooted in the past, but always moving forward

        2. Write a statement about your work.

        INTRO

I would like to create a poster in a vintage style blended with modern design, combined with a touch of surrealism. This mixture brings out the beauty of both styles—keeping the nostalgic mood of vintage while expressing the freedom and creativity of the modern world in a minimalist design.

        PARAGRAPH 1

What is the concept behind it?

The concept is rooted in a traditional Chinese story setting, inspired by the movie Mulan. It reflects the idea that a strong girl is just as capable as any man—brave, independent, and unafraid to break norms.

        PARAGRAPH 2

What is the message you want people to understand it?

I want to send a message that women are strong and limitless. We should all seize time, stay brave, and live life to the fullest—even in difficult moments. Strength doesn’t always look like power; sometimes, it’s simply the courage to keep going, to keep dreaming. Whether it’s Mulan from the past or women like us today, we are just as capable—we can achieve anything, just like men do.

        SUMMARY

        What is your motto/ quote?

        Strong and Limitness

        4.0 REFLECTION

As the semester draws to a close, the last few classes have focused mainly on consultations for our final project. After refining some minor details and confirming the submission requirements with Mr. Fauzi, my project was officially approved. I’m truly grateful for his guidance—it greatly streamlined both my design work and my thought process.
