Poster Progress
Figure 3.0 Progress 1
Progress 1
I created the initial scenario through a hand-drawn sketch, focusing on the smoky atmosphere I envisioned. This visual sets the tone and draws the viewer into the scene, establishing the mood and direction of the overall poster.

Progress 2
I added traditional Chinese heritage architecture into the background to enhance the cultural context of the poster. This element helps anchor the scene in a historical setting and strengthens the connection between the modern figure and the past.
4.0 REFLECTION
During Week 8, I focused on completing my poster design. One of the most enjoyable parts of the process was incorporating my own photography, which made the poster feel more personal and customised. I applied techniques from Week 4—such as Select and Mask, Layer Mask, and Clipping Mask from the Hearst Mansion exercise—to seamlessly blend my photo with the other visual elements in the composition.
