4.0 REFLECTION
Experience
This module truly changed the way I see typography and its importance in design. What initially felt like a small and niche area turned out to be far more complex, demanding, and meaningful than I ever expected. Over the past 14 weeks, the journey was intense, overwhelming, and challenging at times, but also deeply rewarding. Despite moments of doubt and exhaustion, I am proud that I managed to push through and give my best to every task. Through this process, I developed a much deeper appreciation and understanding of type design, and I am sincerely grateful to Mr Vinod for his patience, guidance, and dedication throughout the module.
Observations
As I worked through each task, I became increasingly aware of how powerful attention to detail can be. Small details often easy to overlook and it can completely shape the final outcome of a design. This realisation stayed with me throughout the module and pushed me to slow down, observe more carefully, and be more intentional with every design decision. Over time, this habit helped me grow not only as a designer, but also as a more thoughtful and mindful creator.
Findings
One of the most important lessons I learned from this module is to keep trying and not settle too quickly for the first result. There is always room to refine, improve, and grow. I also learned that while feedback is essential, it is just as important to trust my own design instincts. Seeking too much validation can weaken the identity of a design. In the end, the work reflects who I am as a designer, and having confidence in my choices is just as important as listening to others.
