Theme: Cultural Prosperity: Celebration - A Totern of Renewing Festive Culture
Category: Magic Lock Screen (Square & Vertical)
Title: RE-D THREADS

Summary of design concept:

A contemporary female figure sits atop a horse—its silhouette quietly rising against the hazy backdrop of an ancient town. Through minimalist design, this poster reimagines a scene that traditionally would not exist: a woman occupying a role historically reserved for men. The use of deep maroon tones along the edges creates a solemn, reflective mood, while a smoky white negative space reveals faded memories of heritage. Together, the girl and the horse become symbols of present and past—intertwining modern identity with cultural legacy in a silent act of defiance and continuity.

4.0 REFLECTION

Project 2 was a tough one for me. People often think minimalist design is the easiest, but in reality, it's quite the opposite. Creating a minimalist design meant I had to strip away a lot of creative elements and focus on simplifying everything without losing meaning or impact. It’s not just about using fewer elements—it’s about making every detail count. Finding that balance between simplicity and effectiveness really challenged my design thinking.
